AMA Supercross Class Stats in San Francisco
The first race held at AT&T Park was January 25, 2003, and Ricky Carmichael won on a Honda.

This race marks the eighth time the gate will drop in San Francisco for an AMA Supercross class race.

Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart are the only riders to win two AMA Supercross races in San Francisco.

Every rider that has won the AMA Supercross class main event in San Francisco lives in the state of Florida.

James Stewart is the only rider to win in San Francisco in both the AMA Supercross and the AMA Lites class.

Ryan Dungey earned his second AMA Supercross class win and is the only rider to finish on the podium at the first three races.

For only the sixth time in his career, James Stewart finished in third place in an AMA Supercross class race.

Since 1974, the first rider to win two AMA Supercross class main events in a season went on to win the championship 17 times.

Josh Hill now has back-to-back podium finishes.

For the first time in 116 starts, Chad Reed was not on the gate due to injury.

Kevin Windham is now tied with Jeff Ward at 160 career AMA Supercross class starts. He is now fourth on the all-time start list.

Not since 2004 has a Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites class racer won the first  four races of the series. Weimer can accomplish this Saturday night with a win. Ivan Tedesco was the last to do it, and he won the first five races.

Supercross made its debut at AT&T Park back on January 23, 2003 when Ricky Carmichael won the AMA Supercross class and Stewart won the AMA Supercross Lites class. Carmichael holds the record for the most wins at AT&T Park with three. In the AMA Supercross Lites class, Nathan Ramsey is the only rider to earn two wins in San Francisco.

CBS Sports will air the AMA Supercross class race on Sunday, January 31 at Noon EST and SPEED will air the AMA Supercross Lites class on Sunday, January 31 at 10:00 p.m. EST.
