The Tech 8 simply gets better and better with age. The very latest development and material technology has been applied to the iconic Tech 8 boot to yet further enhance its performance. An innovative, bio-mechanical, calf and shin articulation system has been designed to give improved control and flex while overall, the fit and comfort features have been improved throughout the structure of the boot.

TECH 8 BOOT HIGHLIGHTS:

•   Full Grain leather upper construction with innovative external, bio-mechanical, calf and shin articulation system featuring a vertical dual sliding blade mechanism. This design, formed with multi-compound Poly Urethane (PU), improves control and flex consistency throughout the Tech 8 and being an integral part of the front and rear protection, enhances the boot's safety performance.
•   Extended flex panels in the in-step and Achilles further promote natural movement, control and comfort.
•   Patented internal boot works with the exterior structure to provide a more precise fit and long-lasting comfort with asymmetrical gel inserts for ankle comfort and protection and a removable anatomical foot bed.
•   Enhanced closure system features 4 easy-to-operate aluminum buckles with memory and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure. The revised upper buckle alignment (rear closing top buckle and forward closing shin buckle) improve fit control while retaining the burst protection afforded by bi-directional buckle closure. The buckles are mounted within the profile of the boot to further protect them from impact damage.
•   Outside protectors are injected with high modulus PU for high levels of impact and abrasion resistance.
•   Alpinestars exclusive lasting process gives the Tech 8 a highly precise and comfortable fit for varying foot shapes.
•   New generation of dual compound sole rubber for long lasting durability with improved grip.  Large sole insert is easily replaceable without having to replace the main outsole.
•   Comprehensive support and security built in to the internal structure of the boot with additional shock absorbing insert in the heel.
•   Enlarged TPU rubber gaiter at the top of the boot (similar to Tech 10 design) effectively seals out elements.
•   White boot features ventilation system with multiple air intakes.
•   The Tech 8 is CE certified.
