In the world of motorized competition, Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) and the HRC logo stand above all others. Thanks to the widespread exposure our factory racing teams have earned through winning in racing venues the world over, HRC has developed a reputation that is enviable in its exclusivity and desirability. Having generated such notoriety over the years, Honda now proudly introduces products with the HRC name that will be available to all Honda customers through Honda Genuine Accessories.
The first HRC-branded accessories to be offered by Honda Genuine Accessories have been engineered for the CRF250R and CRF450R. These accessories will effect weight reduction to aid handling, add styling and improve durability. Developed in conjunction with the 2010 CRF250R and CRF450R, these accessories have been fully integrated as part of the overall models. Extensive testing of the parts while installed on new-model test prototypes included races in the All Japan Motocross Championship.
Through this development work, we now proudly introduce the following HRC-branded accessories for the 2010 CRF250R and CRF450R. We are already exploring additional ways to expand the lineup of HRC-branded accessories so we can offer even more options to Honda customers in the near future.
Triple Clamp Set
The use of duralumin (an alloy of aluminum that contains copper, manganese, magnesium, iron and silicon) in place of the aluminum used in the standard-equipment triple clamp effects an 80-gram weight reduction while securing equivalent strength. The facing uses black alumite treatment and wears the HRC logo.
Full Exhaust System (CRF250R only)
While the standard CRF-R exhaust systems use stainless steel and aluminum construction, this exhaust system incorporates titanium for the exhaust pipe and the front of the silencer, and carbon fiber for the silencer body. Total weight reduction comes to 707 grams, cutting 227 grams from the exhaust pipe area and 480 grams from the silencer. Features HRC logo.
PGM-FI Tuning Kit
With this tuning kit riders can adjust EFI fuel delivery as well as ignition timing over a wide range of settings to alter engine power characteristics to suit rider preference or track conditions.
Oversized-Handlebar Holder
The HRC Handlebar Holder features the same shape as those used on the HRC factory machines and includes chromium molybdenum steel bolts for increased rigidity. Used with 1 1/8-inch handlebars. Red aluminite finish offers increased durability and the Holder sports the HRC logo.
Magnesium ACG Cover (CRF250R only)
Using magnesium as the material for this ACG Cover reduces weight 190 grams compared to the standard-equipment part. The white coloring and the red Honda logo add a factory flourish.
Clutch Cover (CRF250R only)
This aluminum Clutch Cover employs a three-dimensional, curved surface to create a compact feel. A tough, white coating makes it easier to remove scratches or wipe away stains. Red Honda logo.
