HILLSDALE, Mich., (April 21, 2009) - Cobra Motorcycle racers descended upon Vegas this past week/weekend for the annual Mini Grand Prix and again cleaned up in the 50cc Pee Wee mini cycle categories, sweeping every championship from the Stock and Modified through 6 (years old) classes, 7-8 Stock and Modified classes and the Super Pee Wee Modified 6-9 class.

Leading the Cobra charge, as he did in the season-opening amateur MX nationals in Texas, was Bakersfield, Calif.'s Stilez Robertson. The mini MX ripper was head and shoulders above the competition in the Stock and Modified through 6 classes to keep his record perfect in mini cycle competition this summer.
"Stilez reminds us a lot of a young Adam Cianciarulo," said Cobra President Sean Hilbert of Cobra's all-time winningest racer. "He's disciplined and focused beyond his years and driven to succeed, which has much to do given the great support from his family."
Up on the box with Robertson for a 1-2 finish for Cobra in the Pee Wee Stock class was Vancouver, Wash.'s Ethan Mann. And in the Modified class, Max Miller (Springfield, Ore.) and Dilan Schwartz (Alpine, Calif.) helped Cobra sweep that podium, placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Robertson was joined in the multiple titles department at the Vegas Mini GPs by Jordan Bailey. The Floridian led a Cobra assault on the 7-8 Stock and Modified classes that also featured some great efforts put in by Drew "Rooster" Drennan (Brookshire, Texas) and Tanner Amarillas (Gilbert, Ariz.). Bailey swept top honors in three classes with Drennan placing 2nd in the Stock and Super Pee Wee and 3rd in the stock class while Amarillas went 2nd/3rd in the Modified and Stock classes. Brandon Smith (Aztec, N.M.) rounded out the final podium spot in Super Pee Wee, completing the Cobra sweep if the 7-8 classes.
"Again, congrats to all the Cobra kids and their families that competed at the Vegas Mini GPs," said Hilbert. "Keep after the schoolwork, ride hard and we'll see you at the Ponca City."
Next up for the Cobra kids is the 34th annual Grand Nationals of Motocross at Ponca City, July 27th through Aug. 1. In the mean time, keep an eye out for America's next great motocross racers at a track near you!
